A ceramic vessel inspired by a glass apothecary bottle l found in an antique shop. I was drawn to the object and its forgotten story, which prompted me to reimagine the form in clay, honouring its past while giving it a sustainable future.
The main form is made from buff stoneware clay, while the glaze is a blend of waste materials: glass shards from broken beer bottles, cigarette ash from a local pub, and London clay sourced from a construction site in Wimbledon.
