One of my favourite beach on the Isle of Wight captured in a pot. The carved textures, added forms and natural tones are all inspired by this beautiful beach. Details noticed whilst walking the beach. The main form is made from clay collected along the beach, tempered with local sands and a stoneware clay body. The mineral and ash glazes applied onto the piece have also been gathered along this very beach.
