Large pot made from natural materials gathered along Yaverland Beach on the Isle of Wight. The form combines locally collected clay, beach sands and a stoneware clay body, with mineral and ash glazes also gathered from the shoreline. The piece captures the landscape through its own materials, transforming the beach into both source and surface. Collected sea glass has been crushed into shards and combined with the natural glaze applied on the inside of the vessel, creating unique burst of shining multi tonal speckles.
