Thames Matters is a collection created through collecting both materials and inspiration directly from the River Thames foreshore, while Perpetual Ash is made using waste materials, specifically clay from construction sites and cigarette ash. These small lidded vessels are created across both collections, each reflecting the materials and processes of its respective collection. Designed to contain small special finds, keepsakes and trinkets, the vessels offer a place to hold and preserve objects that might otherwise be overlooked or discarded.
