Thames Matter is a collection of work created using materials gathered along the River Thames.
This pot is rough, textured and irregularly shaped with marks and indents, influenced by the foreshores scrapes and scuffs caused by aging, weathering and human intervention.The indents have been filled with a unique glaze created using clay from the Thames combined with birch wood ash.
