These pieces, titled Perpetual Ash: Last Drop Miniature, have taken influence from small apothecary bottles and their associations with preserving, containing and holding remnants. The miniature vessels have been created using waste materials, including clay sourced from construction sites and cigarette ash. Their small scale reflects the delicate nature of the vessels, while the use of discarded materials explores ideas of waste, residue and the transformation of overlooked materials into something to be preserved.
